I bought this book because I want to start speaking on a corporate level and also on cruise ships. I had the privilege of meeting Allen Taylor the Author and he has shared many stories about cruising for Free. The book was very helpful and I am on the road to cruising for free!
Excellent overview of cruising free! I've never thought about it even though I've been on several cruises. Someone has to entertain those passengers...why not me?
Recently retired and with time on my hands, I found this little book and a whole new world of travel opened up! I found out I absolutely love to cruise. I had the opportunity to visit Norway for the Northern Lights Astronomy tour and then recently up to Alaska. So many places to go, so little time! And how much better to travel free, guest of the cruise line! I am planning on brushing up on some of my arcane knowledge and try this myself! Hats off to Allen Taylor for giving the rest of us this marvelous opportunity.
Cruising for free is now on my bucket list! I met people doing it when I was a paying passenger emmigrating to New Zealand with my family ten years ago but it didn't cross my mind that I could too until I read Allens book! Having read this book now I understand how the cruise company could offer so many great choices of classes e.g ice sculpting, flower arranging, life coaching, art, bridge - just like he says, you name it. There was so much to do I couldn't fit in sunbathing! Allen is clearly an experienced cruiser and knows the ins and outs that you need to know, does the maths and explains clearly why the cruise companies need you as much as much as you need them.
I have heard Allen speak, so when I heard about the book I bought it. I also purchased and gave away a few. It is a nice read, that tells you how to do it, in a very down to earth manner. Read this book, and then do it too.
This book does a great job summarizing everything i needed to know about speaking on cruise ships. The author seems to know all of the details, and he gave me what I needed to help me get free cruises around the world. -- Cruises are not for everyone, but if you do like them, this book will help you travel for free!
